Tetrad Eco Sofas

For the first time we are able to offer Tetrad's new range of Tetrad Eco sofas and chairs which are manufactured in a way that does no harm at all to the environment.

Our Tetrad Eco friendly sofas and chairs are entirely free from man made materials, horrid things, like polyester, foam, oil based or petroleum based products.

The frames are manufactured from sustainable wood, webbings are made from hessian and jute and the springs are made from steel with no chemical coating. The upholstery materials are 100% natural and include Mongolian horse hair, duck feathers, down and woollen wadding. The Tetrad Eco fabric collections include Alpaca wool, cotton, linen and pure silk.

The Tetrad Eco leather hides are tanned water buffalo, more commonly associated with the mozzarella cheese industry. These are tanned without any of the potentially carcinogenic chemicals normally used and result in a more natural approach incorporating bio enzymes in combination with natural vegetable tannings to create that gorgeous "out of the attic" look.

Making sofas and chairs this way is not cheap but we think it is a price worth paying and the end result is a piece of heirloom furniture. There was a time when Tetrad were known for just being conscientious, now it is all about conscience as well as finding ways to produce sofas and chairs in harmony with our environment.
