The Flame Marcel Sofa Bed

The Marcel sofa bed is a very compact double sofa bed that requires the bare minimum of space. The Marcel can either be set up as a sofa bed or as a large stool when extra seats are needed. If you set it up as a sofa you get storage space at the back, which is ideal for hiding bedlinen out of sight. A very clever design - we LOVE it!

Storage Space

For ease of movement, beds can be simply broken down into 2/3 pieces. The storage box is removed by lifting off the seat rails and then the headboard end is lifted off the top runners and pulled forward. Re-assembly is in reverse order, ensuring the headboard section is square. If necessary the arms of Brian, George, Rosie, Sally and Scoop and the back of Brian, Sally and Scoop can be removed by unscrewing the inside bolts.

Vacuum clean or brush upholstery weekly, accumulated dirt will accelerate wear and dull colours. Avoid exposing furniture to direct prolonged sunlight as fading may result. Rotate and plump up back cushions regularly to prevent uneven wear and excessive soiling. Do not sit on arms. Avoid sharp objects.

Microfibre Cleaning Instructions

Microfibre is a tactile, highly durable fabric. Most stains, for example biro, butter and machine oil can be removed by carefully dabbing with a clean damp cloth. Stubborn stains can be ususally removed using a small amount of soap and water.

Leather Cleaning

Picasso hides are fully penetrated semi-aniline dyed with a special surface protection finish. Absorb spillages immediately with a clean dry cloth. Keep away from radiators (approx 30 cms). Variances in colour and texture are natural features of your Flame furniture.
